Meet the members of Terpsicore Dance Company

Danna Parker began dancing at age 13 in Kansas City at Sumner Academy of Arts and Sciences.  Her passion for ballet has kept her dancing for the past 23 years!  Danna currently trains at Ballet Arizona and with Kim Sonderreger at Dance Theatre West.  She is a member of Movement Source Dance company and is proud to be the Artistic Director of  Terpsicore Dance Company – the official dance company of Art Renaissance.

 

Nicole Olson started her dance training at Milwaukee Ballet School with Katherine Kersten.  After receiving her BFA in Ballet and Modern from the Univerisity of WI-Stevens Point, she danced with several companies throughout Wisconsin and Chicago.  Nicole currently dances with Movement Source Dance Co. and Scorpius Dance Theatre in Phoenix and is the Ballet Instructor at Metro Arts High School.

 

Penelope Pantazon has been dancing since the age of 12. She was born in Milwaukee, WI, where she studied ballet and jazz dance at the Milwaukee Ballet School, Et Toi Tu Danses?, the University of Wisconsin, and the Gus Giordano studio in Chicago. She received a B.A. in English and Spanish from the University of Wisconsin. In 1998, she moved to the Phoenix area to pursue a career in technical communication in the computer software industry. In addition to finding success in the technical and business arenas, she also resumed her ballet training and rediscovered her love of dance in the Valley of the Sun.  She currently studies dance at the School of Ballet Arizona.

 

Karida Cardoso began her dance training in Phialdelphia, Pa with Wissahickon Dance Academy, The International Ballet Exchange and the Pennsylvania Academy of Dance. Karida has danced with the Donetsk Ballet of Ukraine throughout the Tri-state area as well as in the Ukraine. She danced with the Hartford Ballet for a short time as an apprentice and has studied in New York in various studios and workshops. Karida recieved her BFA in Dance from ASU and currently works as a ballet, jazz and Pilates instructor.
