Arizona Dancers

To be released in Fall 2007

By invitation only, a selection of Arizona dance companies, studios and schools will be featured in this hardcover, full-color, large format art book for the incredibly low participation of $250 per page. This is only possible because the Art Renaissance Initiative has secured a number of donated professional services. Compare with the contribution of $5,000 per page asked by Phoenix Art Museum for the book — similar in format and quality — on  painter Philip Curtis.

How it works:

Depending on the statement you want to make, you can purchase a minimum of two (2) pages to a maximum of eight (8) pages, in multiples of two, to make sure each participant has its own space and does not have to share a spread.

   Text will not exceed 250 words (+ captions of pictures). It will be a mostly visual book capturing the spirit of dance through art photography.

   As for all other books and publications successfully produced by the Art Renaissance Initiative, nothing goes to press that you haven’t reviewed and approved.

Your participation covers and includes the following services:

• PHOTOGRAPHY (a $500 value)
• TEXT EDITING
• PAGE DESIGN & FORMATTING
• PROJECT & PRODUCTION MANAGEMENT
• BOOK PRINTING & BINDING

     In addition, it includess:

• LISTING OF YOUR COMPANY on both the book index and the web page associated with the book, complete with contact, address and telephone, e-mail address and website.
• SPONSOR RECOGNITION on a special page
• COPYRIGHT-FREE PHOTOGRAPHY (a $1,000 value)
• TWO COPIES OF THE BOOK per page (a $50 value)
• ADDITIONAL COPIES AT PRODUCTION COST of only $17.50 per copy (a 50% discount on list price of $35) for your promotion and fundraising events.

   Because we support several dance groups, we know that money, however modest the amount, is always an issue. To help you participate in this project, we welcome your individual or corporate sponsors. Their donation is fully tax-deductible.

   To make it even easier, your contribution is payable in two installments: 50% when signing in to reserve your space, and the balance at the time the book goes to press.

   Pictures of your choice, from other photographers than Michel Sarda, are accepted — as long as they are donated and match the artistic standards of the book.

   As we’ve done with several of our other publications, we offer you the exciting option of customizing this book with a special insert (“tip-in sheet”) or a special cover (large quantities only).

   Space and time are limited. We want the book to be available for your 2007-2008 season.
